We want you to know that we are committed to providing an exceptional Christian, classical, college-preparatory education for PK4 through twelfth-grade students that is founded on Christian values and Biblical principles. How To Apply
Families apply online as it simplifies submission and provides parents with a tool for tracking the status of their admission after their application has been submitted.

Upon submitting an application, you will be able to track your admission status by logging into your Covenant Account. The application must be completed and supplemental application forms downloaded, completed, and returned to the school. A non-refundable application fee must be submitted with each application.
When To Apply
The Covenant Preparatory School encourages families to begin the application process as soon as possible. For early admission decisions, applications should be submitted no later than February 1st.

Application Requirements
Students must be able to handle the academic work expected of them and have a proven track record of academic success. Student recommendation forms must be obtained from current teachers and must show that a student has a history of exhibiting the type of character that supports the beliefs and practices of Covenant.
To apply for admission to Covenant, all prospective candidates must:
- Meet age requirements for their grade
- Complete the appropriate entrance exams
- Submit an online application for admission
- Supply required documents
- Parent interview with an administrator if the applicant is entering PK4 through sixth grade
- Parent and student interview with an administrator if the applicant is entering seventh through twelfth grades.
Students cannot be considered by the Admission Committee until the following documents have been received:
- Birth certificate
- Report cards from the current and previous year (students entering grades 1-12)
- Unofficial transcript (students entering grades 9-12)
- Copies of past achievement tests
- Teacher Recommendation forms
- Copies of any testing reports (if applicable)
- Legal documents regarding custody established by a court of law (if applicable)
- Immunization records
Prekindergarten applicants – 4 years by September 1
Kindergarten applicants – 5 years by September 1
1st Grade applicants – 6 years by September 1

The Covenant Preparatory School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school administered programs.
Admission to Covenant is subject to class space availability, and is prioritized in the following manner: children of Covenant staff, children or siblings of alumni and enrolled families, all other new applicants.
Final admission decisions are made by an Admission Committee composed of administrators, faculty, and staff.
The Admission Committee reserves the right to deny admission to any student who is evaluated as ineligible. Covenant’s mission is to work in conjunction with the home to mold students to be Christ-like. On occasion, the atmosphere or conduct within a particular home may be counter or in opposition to the Biblical lifestyle the school teaches. This includes, but is not limited to, sexual immorality, sexual orientation, or inability to support the moral principles of the school. In such cases, the school reserves the right to refuse admission to an applicant.
At least one parent must agree to and accept Covenant’s Doctrine Statement.
Admission Tests
To ensure all students are prepared for the work they will encounter in the grade they desire to enter, Covenant requires the tests listed below. Please note that additional testing may be requested by the Admission Committee if it is determined to be beneficial to the final admission decision.
Candidates for PK4 must take a developmental readiness assessment. This test is scheduled through Covenant Admissions, taken at Covenant and administered by a Covenant instructor. The cost of this assessment is included in the $125 application fee.
Candidates for PK4 and Kindergarten will be administered a teacher provided readiness screening with emphasis on oral reading, sight word recognition, writing, phonetics, and basic math skills. These are administered at Covenant and may be scheduled through the admission office once an application has been submitted.
Candidates must take the ISEE Primary (Independent School Entrance Exam). This is an online test administered at Covenant. The cost of the exam is paid directly to the testing company, ERB. For more information, please visit the ISEE website.
Candidates must take the ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam). Parents may register their child for any scheduled group date listed on the ISEE website. Contact Covenant Admission to schedule an alternate testing date. The cost for the exam is paid directly to the testing company, ERB, at the time of registration.
