The Covenant Preparatory School strives to keep our parents informed on all policies, procedures and events.  This page contains a myriad of links, forms and resources to help you stay informed.  

During the school year, the majority of communication received from teachers and staff will be via email and in Friday’s “The Quick Click”, our weekly newsletter.  Emergency announcements such as unexpected school closures due to weather, will be communicated by text message and email.  

In order for us keep you informed about all aspects of the school, please notify the Front Desk personnel of any address, email, phone number, or other changes that need to be made to your information in our database.

Absences

Please call the school at 281-359-1090 or email Mrs. McCormick by 8:30 a.m. if your child is ill or will be unexpectedly absent from school.

Prior notification should be provided to the school for absences because of family trips, church activities, etc.

Athletics Required Forms

All athletes must provide the following forms to participate in Covenant’s athletics program:

Bus Transportation

Covenant provides Bus Transportation to and from Atascocita, Summerwood, Fall Creek and the Grand Parkway Area. Round-trip or one service is available.

Drop-off and Pick-Up Procedures

The drop-off location for students in PK4 – 6th grade will be under the crimson awning of the east side of the building. Please park in a parking spot if you are walking your student into the building.

The drop-off location for students in 7th – 12th grade will be in the small parking lot facing Hamblen Road on the south side of the building. Please enter the lot through the second entrance.

The after-school pick-up instructions are more detailed.

Enrichment Schedule

Our after-school enrichment program offers our younger students the opportunity to experience a variety of activities from sports, to science, to the arts. Classes are offered after school for about an hour and there will be fall semester classes and spring semester classes.

Extended Childcare Services

Early Morning Care is available at no charge beginning at 6:45 a.m. each day. Afternoon extended care services are available from the time school is dismissed until 6:30 p.m. Additional charges apply.

Covenant reserves student parking and bus parking in the parking lot directly parallel to Hamblen Road. Parents may not park in these spots at any time.

Any items listed on the Lands End Covenant List is approved for school. Please note some items may be designated for Friday only wear. All shirts, jackets, and sweaters worn in the classroom Monday through Thursday must be purchased through Lands End or our “recycled” uniform items on campus. Friday spirit-wear must be ordered through Covenant.
